About Jim Laird:

As a public school educator in British Columbia for 20 years, Jim Laird has spent most of his career in Central Okanagan, Canada. Currently the principal of George Elliot Secondary School in Lake Country, he recently spent three years as a principal in Canyon Falls, Kelowna, opening and establishing an innovative middle school.

As a lifelong learner, he has taken coursework through Harvard Graduate School of Education, IDEO, Harvard Business School, and the TELP program out of the University of British Columbia. And most importantly, he is a proud father and husband who spends as much time outdoors as possible.
